The North American Screaming Eagles are proud to host this falls Northern Exposure Prep Showcase and Admissions Fair! The Showcase will take place in Niagara Falls, ON on Monday November 2nd, 2020 at the state of the art Gale Centre. As in previous years we will have many of North Americas top academic and hockey programs in attendance.
Players will participate in on ice games and be given an opportunity to meet with many of North America’s top schools and hockey programs. Families will take part in a comprehensive information sessions on the NCAA, Prep School life, and a host of other topics related to pursuing education through hockey.
This will be a very valuable day for hockey players and their families! The Showcase will provide on ice, and face to face, exposure for players to some of the worlds best hockey programs. Parents will be able to leave well informed and with plenty of material to read over on programs that are actively recruiting players.
The Admissions Fair is a great opportunity to meet coaches, all of who will be looking to fill roster spots for the 2020/21 season, and ask questions about the possibilities for hockey and academics. As is usually the case, there will be more roster spots available than players participating in the event. Families and players will be able to participate in seminars on Prep athletic opportunities, recruiting insights from coaches, academic eligibility, financial aid, and a host of other pertinent subjects. We will also have some of our former players on hand to speak about their personal experiences and where the game has taken them so far.
We pride ourselves on providing the best talent pool to schools and also top end opportunities for players. For the 03-06 birth year players it gives programs an opportunity to preview top quality players and get a jump on recruiting into the 2020/21 hockey season. For families we provide a forum for players to showcase their skills and also get the information necessary to have good insights into what the possibilities are for the future.
Players will be playing in three mini games and will have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the coaches in attendance. The games are 20 minute stop time periods and are officiated by fully qualified and experienced referees.
This years event is open to players in the 2003, 04, 05, and 06 birth years. Our Showcases over the last six seasons have had fantastic results. We have had well over 300 players accepted at various schools and many are now committed to, and attending, D1 schools or playing in the AJHL, USHL, BCHL and other top junior hockey leagues. This event has filled in the past so please do not hesitate to email back if you need any further information. The cost for this falls showcase is $129.00. To register click here.

Here is some feedback from a few participating schools:
“The Screaming Eagles have done a great job in presenting educational opportunities lined up with a tremendous hockey experience for the local Ontario kids. They have been honest and on the money with every kid they have introduced me to. This is a can’t miss showcase.”

The Northern Exposure Prep Showcase provides student-athletes with premier exposure to the nation’s top prep schools and NCAA programs. Dave Chevrier and Kevin McGovern provide prep school and college coaches with pre-packaged, high end character kids who will contribute both to our school communities and hockey programs.
We always look forward to meeting with Dave and Kevin’s families!

“The Northern Exposure Prep Showcase provides a tremendous forum for families to learn about the exciting opportunities, both on and off the ice, that the prep school experience can provide. Through the informative and comprehensive seminar sessions, boys and families receive a detailed guide to navigating the prep school process. I have been extremely impressed with the caliber of player and young man that attends the Showcase and as a result, it has become an important event that we are sure to attend.”

The showcase offered by North American Screaming Eagles is always one of the best of the year for us. The talent and interest in boarding schools is deep and we look forward to coming year after year. The service they provide to local Ontario families and the exposure they give to boarding
schools in this area is unparalleled.
Dave Chevrier has been through the recruiting process with many families and has spent countless hours over the last several years providing them with great advice and support through a confusing landscape.

“The Northern Exposure NCAA Prep Showcase in Niagara Falls, ON is a high level hockey event with outstanding opportunities for young athletes. Stanstead College has regularly attended and has always come away with numerous prospects for our program. Kevin Millesjour, a talented mobile defenseman from Welland, Ontario is an example of a showcase participant who caught our attention and went on to enjoy two years of prep school hockey at Stanstead before playing junior hockey for the Smithsfall Bears in the CJHL. Dave Chevrier and his staff do a great job in organizing this event and educating families on the many options student athletes have after playing midget hockey. We look forward to returning and speaking with interested families.”

We are in a stretch that has enrolled players in each of the last three years and we look forward to working with Dave Chevrier and the participants into the future.
